Cet album est la rampe de lancement du rapper Blu, alors qu’Exile avait précédemment sorti son 1er album solo « Dirty Science » et deux albums en tant que membre du duo Emanon (Exile & Aloe Blacc).
On retrouve d’ailleurs Aloe Blacc en featuring sur l’album, ainsi que le chanteur de RnB Miguel et le rappeur Ta’Raach.
