« KING. » est le 4ème album de TI, sorti sur les labels Grand Hustle Records et Atlantic Records.
La production de l’album a été gérée par plusieurs producteurs de haut niveau, dont DJ Toomp, Just Blaze, Mannie Fresh, Swizz Beatz, Keith Mack, Travis Barker, The Neptunes ou Nick « Fury » Loftin, entre autres.
Côté featuring on retrouve des artistes majeurs de la scène Dirty South comme UGK (Bun B & Pimp C), B.G., Young Jeezy, Young Buck, Young Dro, mais également d’autres artistes tels que Common, Pharrell Williams, Governor, ainsi que son groupe P$C (T.I., Big Kuntry King, C-Rod, Mac Boney).
L’album a servi également de bande originale au premier long métrage « ATL » où le rappeur natif d’Atlanta T.I. joue le rôle principal de Rashad, Le film est un conte de passage à l’âge adulte.
